Terms & community rules
Last updated 13 October 2026
By using TIERS you agree to these terms. They’re short on purpose.
Training information, not medical advice
Rankings, scores and workouts are general training information. They don’t replace advice from a doctor, physiotherapist or qualified coach who knows you. If an exercise hurts, stop. You train at your own risk.
Community rules
Takes, comments, workouts and photos are seen by other lifters. Keep them useful and keep them civil:
- No hate, harassment, threats or personal attacks.
- No spam, links, ads or self-promotion.
- No dangerous advice, such as encouraging people to train through injury or use drugs.
- No impersonation, and no posting other people’s personal information.
- No nudity or sexual content, and no photos of other people without their permission. Gym selfies are fine.
You can report any take, workout or comment and block its author. Content reported by several lifters is hidden automatically until we review it, and we may remove content or close accounts that break these rules. You must be at least 13 to have an account.
Adding exercises
Members can add exercises that aren’t in TIERS. Each one needs a real name and a short clip of the exercise being done. Rules for clips:
- Film yourself, or someone who agreed to be filmed and posted. Keep other gym-goers out of shot.
- Show the exercise: no jokes, memes, ads or unrelated clips. Unusual variations are welcome.
- Nothing dangerous that no coach would teach.
Every new exercise is reviewed before it goes live, partly with the help of an AI model. We may decline, hide or remove any exercise, and three reports hide it until we’ve looked. You can delete your own at any time.
Fair rating
One person, one rating per exercise. Using scripts, multiple identities or coordinated campaigns to move the rankings isn’t allowed, and we may discard ratings that look manipulated.
Your content
You own what you post. By posting a take, workout, photo, comment or exercise, or sharing a list, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it on TIERS to the people you chose, and, for public lists and takes, in images and posts that feature the rankings. We never use your photos in marketing without asking. You can delete your content at any time from You.
The service
TIERS is provided as it is, and we may change or discontinue features. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Questions or reports: jakobbbl@gmail.com.
